Experience
I began my tutoring career when I was in the fourth grade. I have learned a bit since then. I earned my degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics from the Rider University, and went on to earn my master's degree in Special Education from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Suffice it to say, I find teaching a very satisfying career. I especially enjoy tutoring, because it gives me the opportunity to really make an impact on an individual's life, for the better. I have experience tutoring all kinds of students, from those in special education to those in gifted and talented programs. I believe that the tutoring sessions I create should be fun and creative, with a very positive and trusting atmosphere. It is in this environment that I believe students learn best. Within these guidelines, I customize each session to meet the particular needs of each individual student. Every one of the students I work with has a different blend of strengths, interests, and challenges, along with learning styles that work best for them. With these in mind, I develop unique study plans to help my students achieve their math education goals. I also tutor students who are studying for standardized tests, like the ACT, SAT, GRE, and others.
